This is a project that started my conceptual exploration of sound. Noises are all around us , but our ears are trained to be much more forgiving to the environment. Just as I am interested in understanding advertising and visual noise, I am trying to understand how our ears interpret the world around us.
This project argues that every sound has a story, rhythm, and other qualities that can be considered 'music' on their own terms. Through randomness, new stories can be created and new relationships formed that are unexpected yet powerful. It is an argument that art exists everywhere, that you just need to be ready to experience it.
