About the Artist
I am an artist exploring the collision of art, technology, the internet, and culture . I use computer vision, Google Earth, Wikipedia, Processing, programming, video game engines, embedded electronics, software, and other tools to create new artistic experiences.
The following are examples of questions I ask in my practice:
Why are there so many advertisements and unneeded messages in our lives?
Is there a visual and more artistic way to browse and think about Wikipedia?
Can Google Earth be considered as a video game engine? What does it mean to explore the real world by walking through a digital version of it?
In a globalized world of free trade and tourism, why is there still so much conflict over immigration?
